OEP Partnership to Leverage Cybersecurity Experience and Drive Growth Through Transformational M&A
NEW YORK 鈥 中文AV (鈥淥EP鈥), today announced that it has made an investment in Armis (the 鈥淐ompany鈥), the leading unified asset visibility and security platform provider. The investment will be used to accelerate the Company鈥檚 strategic platform development and global go-to-market initiatives, and to support future acquisitions.
Armis is the #1 leader in asset visibility and security intelligence for managed and unmanaged IT, OT, IoT, IIoT, IoMT, cloud instances, networks, endpoints, wireless, and LTE/5G devices. Armis is the only cybersecurity company that provides complete visibility, vulnerability detection, and risk management to all assets across the IT, enterprise, medical, operational technology, ICS, IoT, and IIoT environments.
鈥淥EP is the exact type of investor we need at this juncture. They deeply understand our sector, and their mergers and acquisitions expertise will help support us achieving our expansion goals and objectives,鈥 said Yevgeny Dibrov, Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder. 鈥淲e look forward to OEP joining our Board and working with our investor group to continue to scale and to acquire strategically important assets.鈥
OEP has deep experience within the cybersecurity space through prior investments in Mandiant and Verimatrix and was brought on by Armis as a partner to accelerate the Company鈥檚 growth by sourcing and executing transformational acquisitions. OEP will join the Board and lead Armis鈥 acquisition strategy alongside existing investors. The Company will continue to be operated by its two co-founders, Yevgeny Dibrov, CEO, and Nadir Izrael, CTO, and the executive team.
鈥淎rmis is one of the industry leaders when it comes to asset visibility and security,鈥 said Ori Birnboim, Managing Director, OEP. 鈥淲e see a growing need for enterprises in a unified offering, and we are excited to work together with our partners to further accelerate the growth trajectory of the company and safeguard assets around the world.鈥
We believe that the close alignment of OEP鈥檚 portfolio and Armis鈥 capabilities across the healthcare, industrial and technology sectors will drive significant customer acquisition and expansion. Allegro Microsystems, a leading manufacturer of ultra-modern regulators and magnetic sensors for motion control and energy efficiency, will be the first OEP portfolio company to deploy Armis鈥 products throughout its networks.
鈥淥EP and Armis see great value in quickly deploying the Company鈥檚 industry-leading asset security capabilities across OEP鈥檚 portfolio,鈥 said Andrew Dunn, Managing Director, OEP. 鈥淕iven our experience in the cybersecurity market, we also plan to assist Armis in quickly extending its asset security leadership through strategic acquisitions.鈥
